JACOBS September 2020 Dear Wilson Focus Families and Friends, Thank you to each and every family for your support of remote learning. All of your children have been “hard at work” learning. Our teachers are teaching all day and planning several breaks for you children. It has certainly been confirmed that we chose the appropriate theme for our 20-21 school year. Each day class starts at 8:00 am and officially ends at 3:30 pm. THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION Wilson Focus: BUILDING LEADERS, LEARNERS, AND BRIGHTER FUTURES! We have truly had to commit as a school community to journey on roads untraveled during this unprecedented time. We are all BUILDING and LEARNING new skills that will prepare us for BRIGHTER FUTURES. Please Return the Student Information Packet that was handed out at Meet The Teacher Night. We have an envelope outside the school entrance that you can place them in from 7:00-3:00. You can also scan it and email to carole.yanovich@ops.org . The iPads are up and running and each day we have learned how to use them more skillfully. If there are still some issues at home, please refer to the troubleshooting tips and resources link in the Technology Tips section below. The remote school day begins at home from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students are expected to be logged on and on time ready to learn and follow the daily schedule of their classroom teacher. Please remind your child to have their camera on unless directed differently by their teacher. Attendance is taken as if your child was in their seat at school. Please call Ms. Carole at (531) 299-2260 or email your teacher if you plan to be absent for any reason. We are amazed every day at the way in which all of our staff, students, and families are meeting the daily requirements of remote learning.
